“Women Go Wild Outdoors sounds like seriously good fun. Lesley Long’s Oxfordshire based company offers women of all ages, shapes, sizes and levels of fitness the chance to take part in outdoor adventure programmes, from archery to abseiling and buggy racing to canoeing, under the instruction of experienced instructors and in the company of other women. Lesley wanted the courses to be women only to give participants the chance to feel free to challenge themselves away from others expectations. As she says; “Woman have a unique sense of discovery, an unabashed sense of curiosity, an ability to laugh at themselves and the capacity to create a non-competitive environment of support and encouragement for each other.”
