Accommodation

Specific accommodation details for each break are included in the Adventure Breaks section.

Large Group Venues & Hotels

We stay at large group venues and hotels that are among the finest in each location.  We aim to ensure you have comfort, convenience, excellent food, space to relax and wonderful views wherever you stay. Typical accommodation is in a twin room, either with a private bathroom or with one very close by.  For those clients who would rather have a room of their own, this can usually be arranged, with payment of a single supplement. Some of our hotels offer spa facilities.

Bunkhouses/Hostels/Activity Centres

We use a huge variety of wonderful bunkhouse accommodation chosen for its location in areas of natural beauty and close to where our outdoor activities take place.  Bunkhouses come in all shapes and sizes in very differing buildings. From very simple group accommodation in converted barns and former railway stations with large open plan sleeping areas to large holiday cottages sleeping 3 – 5 in family rooms.  Duvets and pillows may be supplied but more frequently we take our own sleeping bags. You will be told what to bring when you make your booking.

Communal eating and relaxing areas make for good company and lots of new friends. Bathing arrangements are usually shared bathrooms and showers. Meals are delicious, healthy and portions plentiful. We guarantee that staying in a bunkhouse is always an adventure.

Managed Campsites

These are campsites set in the best locations in the UK and abroad offering first class facilities. Campsite owners share our commitment to delivering a personal caring service and to providing high quality accommodation under canvas. Facilities always include toilets and showers on site. In addition there may be a shop, restaurant and other leisure facilities available. Catering on these adventures breaks will include barbeques and communal cook-outs.

Wild Camping

Wild camping is an option offered on our longer adventure holidays and generally abroad.  It gives you the opportunity to get away from civilization for a short while and enjoy nature in the wild. On these adventure breaks you travel light and take your tent, overnight supplies and own sleeping gear with you. Typically you would sleep two to a tent or solo if you prefer. You will cook your own food around an open fire and go to sleep under the stars.
